What is "media ecology"?
|
| Media Ecology is the study of media environments, that is, the conditions (technological, social, economic, etc.) that affect and shape communication processes and messages. As Neil Postman once said, "Media are environments in which cultures grow." |
What did you do at AT&T Labs?
|
| Although I was initially involved in LAN, BSD Print Server, and Sun Workstation Administration, I later became involved in creating multimedia prototypes and video mock-ups for hypothetical services, these were used for proof-of-concept market testing. |
