PROFICIENCY TESTS Proficiency tests are designed to allow students to demonstrate their mastery of course objectives without actually taking the course. If you score 80% or better on a proficiency test, you will receive a "P" notation on your records. The proficiency credit satisfies graduation requirements and does not effect your grade point average. If you are interested in taking a proficiency test, pick up a Proficiency Test Brochure in Academics, Room 237. Tests are available only for the courses deemed as appropriate by the applicable Academic Dean.
