The following XII sections are to be included in the Laboratory report in the order in which they are listed and without any section being omitted.
I........Title Page
A. It must consist of the following information:
1...The title of the experiment. The title must be
underlined capitalized and centered on the page.
2...The name(s) of the person(s) submitting the report.
3...The name of the class for which the report
is submitted.
4...The date of completion of the report.
5...The name of the instructor to whom the report is
submitted.
II.......TABLE OF CONTENTS
A. It must consist
of all the sections printed in order
on the left side of the page with their page numbers
on the opposite side.

III......ABSTRACT(summary)
A. An abstract
must be a one page, three paragraph summary of
the entire report.
1. The first paragraph must state what the project is about and its purpose.
2. The second paragraph must briefly state how the work was done what
equipment was used and where the work was obtained.
3. The last paragraph must state the results obtained
and any recommendations.
IV.......EQUIPMENT AND PARTS LIST
A. This section
includes a list of all equipment that was used to build, troubleshoot,
adjust, and check experiment. The make and model number of all test
equipment must be given.
EXAMPLE:

1-1K Resistor 1/2 Watt 10%
V.........PROCEDURE
A. This
section includes a step by step account on how
the experiment was constructed. The procedure must
be in essay form and written in the students own words.
VI........DATA
A. This
section includes all measurements and oscilloscope wave forms obtained
while
conducting the experiment.
VII.......Graphs (if necessary)
A. This
section includes any data that can be shown graphically. All graphs must
be
represented and labeled for the purpose of easy reference.
VIII......CALCULATIONS
A. This
section includes samples of any calculations made by using the data. Use
of percent error and/ or deviations from standard values are recommended.
IX........ANALYSIS
A. This
includes a more detailed over-all analysis of the experiment. The
analysis of
the experiment should be based on the overall objective, as stated in the
Abstract,
as well as the results of the data and calculations.
X.........CONCLUSION
A. This
section includes what was learned proven or disproved, or any other
pertinent information concerning the experiment.
XI.........BIBLIOGRAPHY
A. This
section includes any source material (books, periodicals, etc.) Utilized
in completing the experiment. Write name, year of publication, name of
publisher, place of publication, etc.
