The following six sections are to be included in the paper in order
in which the are listed and without
any section being omitted.
I. TITLE PAGE
A. It must consist
of the following information:
1. The title of the research paper. The title must be underlined capitalized
and centered on the page.
2. The names of the persons submitting the report.
3. The name of the class for which the report is submitted.
4. The date of the completion of the report.
5. The name of the instructor to whom the report is submitted.

II. ABSTRACT (summary)
A. An abstract must
be a short, one page summary of the entire report.
III. BODY
A. This section
contains all the information on the researched subject.
B. This
section includes but is not limited to the following information:
1. Theory
4. Disadvantages
2. Terminology
5. Impact on D.P Profession
3. Advantages
IV. ILLUSTRATIONS
A. This section includes the graphs, flowcharts and block diagrams
which are needed to exemplify and clarify the information needed in the
body.
V. FOOTNOTES
A. Footnotes are used for the following purposes:
1.
For ideas taken from the sources but are written in your own words.
2.
For material extracted verbatim from a source.
B. All footnotes may be placed at the bottom of the pages
or on separate sheet(s).
VI. BIBLIOGRAPHY
A. This section includes all the
source material utilized in completing the paper.
THESE RULES MUST ALSO BE FOLLOWED
1. The paper must be neatly written or typed.
2. The report must be neatly written or typed.
3. The grammar must be correct.
4. The report must be stapled and submitted in a cover.
5. The report must be written on unlined 8 1/2-x 11 inch paper.
6. All pages with the exemption of the title page must be numbered
at bottom and centered.
7. The report must be written in the third person.
8. All graphs must be submitted on appropriate graph paper.
9. All information contained in this report must be of an objective
nature.
10. All bibliographical entries must be written in proper format.
