AMG All Music Guide
Covers all the major music genres including rock, country, jazz, blues, folk, bluegrass, rap, easy listening, and new age. The site can be searched by artist, album, song, music style, and label.

APA Style Documentation
This guide to the American Psychological Association (APA) style documentation is a good quick reference for questions about citations, quotations, and other questions you may have about APA style. Included are answers to some student questions and example bibliographies.

A collection of links put together by the Quadralay Corporation. Included are links to online books, compilers, and libraries.

Career Planning
The Mining Company allows people to compile guides for other users. This section was compiled by a librarian named Dawn McKay, and is about different aspects of career planning including stress and company research.

Carl & Gary's Visual Basic Home Page
This page of Visual Basic resources was put together by Carl Franklin (VB author) and Gary Wisniewski. It includes information for people new to Visual Basic, as well as visual basic news and links.

Circuits Archive
A database of circuit information created to make circuit designs more available to engineering students. Can be a useful reference for ET, EET and other technology related majors. Some of the information needs to be downloaded to be opened.

Consumer Reports
Look for online information from Consumer Reports Magazine. Consumer Reports tests and reports on all types of products. Find links to the issue you need and then come into the library to view it. Products are split into categories such as appliances, electronics and autos. There is also a search engine for the site. Please note that you might have to purchase a subscription to access some of the information on the site. Consumer reports is one of the magazines available through Ebsco. Go to Ebscohost to get full access to all the information available through Consumer Reports.

Country Studies
Includes historical, geographical, religious, and economic information on approximately 100 countries. This site contains the full text of the most recent volumes of the Country Studies/Area Studies Handbooks which is prepared by the Federal Research Division of the Library of Congress under the sponsorship of the Department of the Army.

Clearing house on education. ERIC is a national information system designed to provide users with access to 850,000 abstracts of documents and journal articles on education research and practice. This site includes the entire Fortune 500 list with company revenue. It also allows you to link to each company on the list for information such as stocks, revenues, company address and CEO.

FrameRelay Forum
This site gives access to newsletters, tutorials and a lot of other frame relay information. One of the many sections you'll find on this site is called White Papers, which explains the various applications of frame relay.

George Washington University’s International Environmental Resources by Country
This web project created by George Washington University and the EPA, links to Environmental Resource sites around the world. They also have a section of US sites by subject.

Hoover's Online
This site gives free access to basic company information such as address, phone number, web page and subsidiaries. To get more information (such as a ten year stock chart), Hoover's is available in book form in the library's business reference section.

How Stuff Works
This site explains how many common items work including airplanes, telephones, and engines.

IEEE
Information on membership, periodicals, books and conferences from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Most of the information requires a membership number to register, however some things (such as lists of periodical titles) are available without membership.

Information Please
This resource from the Information Please Almanac allows you to search three online almanacs, a dictionary and an encyclopedia. Links are also included to other search tools.

The Internet Classics Archive
Run by MIT this site offers full text classic works. Some of the texts included here are The Aeneid, Aesop's Fables, and The Iliad.

The Internet Movie Database
Comprehensive guide to movies, directors, actors, writers, composers, cinematographers, editors, production designers, costume designers, and producers.

The Internet Poetry Archive
An online collection of poetry by a number of contemporary poets. Includes a bibliogrpahy and biogrpahy for each poet.

Internet Traffic Report
Find out the status for Internet connections around the world. This site allows you to view graphs, packet loss data and more. The data is set up to look like stock market data.

Offers access to information on a large number of health concerns. Information is gathered from government agencies and private sites such as Mayo Health Oasis. Some of the documents retrieved are not free.

Merriam-Webster Online
An online dictionary and thesaurus, based on Merriam-Webster's Collegiate(R) Dictionary, Tenth Edition. This site also has word games and puzzles.

MLA Style
This page from the Modern Language Association gives a few examples of MLA style and answers some questions about writing guidelines.

View the latest stock quotes. Features include the ability to get detailed information on companies, look up stock symbols and view stock history.

National Atlas
An interactive map service designed by the U.S. Geological survey. You can design and explore different features in the U.S. by choosing what you want displayed on the map (ex.: airports, rivers). Most features need to be downloaded to the computer you are using.

NetworkWorld Fusion Primers
This site requires that you register first, but there is a free membership. It allows you to select audio primers alphabetically, get a definition, and listen to the primer. This site also gives access to articles, buying guides, and career information.

New Jersey Labor Market Information
This page from New Jersey's Office of Labor Planning & Analysis gives statistics for the state of New Jersey including employment rates, unemployment rates, population and New Jersey's annual demographic profile.
