The online version of the Occupational Outlook Handbook allows you to search by keyword or to browse the index. This tool (also found in print form at the library) will give you information about the expected growth of specific occupations, what educational background is needed, and what salaries are like.

Occupational Information Network- O*NET Online
Search O-NET by keyword or select an industry from a pull-down menu to obtain a list of job titles and job descriptions with details such as tasks performed, skills required, work environments, and wages and employment data from individual states.
