Grade Changes and Appeals

  • To appeal a final grade, students must contact the professor no later than Sunday of Week 2 of the 8-Week session immediately following the session in which they took the course.

  • If the grade issue remains unresolved after reviewing the grade with the professor, students may appeal the grade by Week 8 of the following session. The final grade has the potential to be raised, lowered or remain the same.  To request a grade appeal, go to, select the Ask Us a Question link, and submit a Grade Appeal case.
  • Grade appeals must be resolved no later than Tuesday of Week 2 of the next session immediately following the session in which the took the course to be conferred in the previous session.
